Natty Belle is rewriting the future of style.

Natty Belle will kick off its two-day New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Spring-Summer 2026 (SS 2026) debut on September 10th, 2025 with three transformative fashion, cultural, and Afro-futurism inspired experiences. This embodiment of sundry freedoms must be witnessed, as we revel on ground that was once inhabited by the Lenape People and liberated Black-land owners during a time of State-enforced bondage—as an acknowledgement that luxury is also being able to occupy spaces and places that our ancestors, elders and comrades have forged.

The inaugural Spring-Summer 2026 preview “Black Femme Sovereignty Resurrected” will take place at Seneca Village and Summit Rock in Central Park, emanating the energy and spirit harvested from the intention of practiced liberation that reminds us there is no luxury greater than freedom.

A dinner reception and interactive conversation will take place at a separate location with a special live broadcast, conversation, and Q&A on Black femininity and liberation with Dr. Angela Davis.

On September 11th, as a continuance of the celebration of “Black Femme Sovereignty Resurrected,” Natty Belle will host a pop-up experience that’s open to the public at a 200-year-old carriage house in Midtown Manhattan for appointments, viewings, and pre-orders.

"Black Femme Sovereignty Resurrected" -- SS26 Fashion Preview in Central Park @ Summit Rock

Natty Belle will kick off its New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Spring-Summer 2026 (SS 2026) fashion preview on September 10 in Central Park @ Summit Rock in territories once known as Seneca Village.

Reconnect and recall the power and knowledge of the past to inspire and remember what is possible today and tomorrow. As an invocation, we will step through time past and present to celebrate the freedoms of Black women and femmes in states of being that are restful, creative, playful and that reflect their self-governing satisfaction while donning sentient designs that reflect power and leisure.

In stark contrast to inhumane historic assumptions about the strength, endurance, resilience, and bold presence of Afro-descendant women, this collection explores interconnection among and between Black women and femme culturally focused wisdom keepers. “Black Femme Sovereignty Resurrected” explores soft life states of being that are restful, creative, and playful through their lens as liberated, claircognizant heirs cloaked in sentient attire.

Curated Dinner Reception & Conversation with Dr. Angela Davis

Alongside its commitment to avoiding high-consumption, low quality practices, Natty Belle is curating a private dinner reception that aims to reclaim culture then, now, and yet to come, in a space of collective care with food made popular during the uptick in liberation, as an alternative to irreverence that’s become synonymous with fashion.

The curated dinner experience and interactive conversation will take place at a separate location with a special live broadcast, conversation, and Q&A on Black femininity and liberation with Dr. Angela Davis.

The curated dinner will be catered by Miss Mamie’s Spoonbread Too, a Harlem-based soul food restaurant founded by Norma Jean Darden, an iconic former fashion model, known for her role in The Battle of Versailles battle between French and American fashion designers.

Note: Address to be disclosed to confirmed guests

About Natty Belle

There is no greater luxury than freedom.

Founded in 2018 by Psychotherapist and Designer Natalie Bell, Natty Belle is a New York-based company that focuses on high-quality, handmade, and sustainable fashion that centers the materials and resources from the continent of Africa. Natty Bell’s mission is to catalyze culturally focused, sustainably created, and historically relevant wearable art that uses ancestral mudcloth as a bold reclamation of Black women and femme sovereignty. Using a slow approach to fashion, Natty Belle arms descendants of the African Diaspora with beautiful options that are infused with cultural and ancestral magic and seeks to restore access to the Greater Self by connecting to the rich celestial knowledge and source of African diasporic ancestry as a primary form of liberation.

Let's raise a toast!

A very special thanks to House of Brown for sponsoring our curated dinner reception.

Have you heard about Brown Estate
Vineyards in Napa Valley?

House of Brown palate-driven wines are regeneratively farmed in California.

Certified sustainable. Vegan-friendly. 100% family-owned.

BROWN Napa Valley is a collection of wine brands anchored by the heritage Brown Estate label. The Brown portfolio includes sister label House of Brown and the iconic Chaos Theory red blend. The Brown family has been in Napa since 1980, growing grapes for 40 years, making wine for 30 years, and operating their wine club for nearly 20 years. By way of Southern California, the family tree has roots in Jamaica (Dad) and Panama (Mom). Sibling-owners Deneen, Coral & David grew up in Los Angeles and Jamaica. During mandatory turns pitching in at their parents’ medical clinic in South Central LA, they adopted an all-for-one, one-for-all sense of responsibility for each other, their work, and the community they were serving.

Raised in what now would be known as a “Blue-Zone” household, they also swore allegiance to what would become a foundational tenet at Brown: Do no harm. This principle informs their practices in the realms of farming, winemaking, and hospitality. After opening their destination Brown Downtown Napa tasting room in 2017, they established House of Brown to expand access to the Brown wine experience. All of the family’s wines are regeneratively farmed, certified sustainable, and vegan-friendly. BROWN Napa Valley and its portfolio of wine brands are 100% Black-/family-owned.

A great big thank you to this women lead sponsor of the Natty Belle NYFW SS26 curated dinner reception and pop-up celebration.

It takes a village.
